What an amazing feeder! I opted for the 1-inch Nag Bag for my three alpacas and filled it with 2 kg of dry alfalfa hay. At first, they were frustrated, not being used to slow feeders. But by the second day, I was delighted to find the hay gone by morning. The bag is incredibly sturdy and well-crafted. It’s now my confirmed go-to slow feeder!

Despite the current high shipping costs to California, these bags are so great that I had to buy more of them! After shipping increased I had tried another bag from elsewhere and while some things were the same, the material was much rougher and there was no toggle to close at the top. It was harder for me to fill and deal with hanging. I hung one of the Nag Bags up in the barn and one of the other brand's bags up and the donkeys went for the Nag Bag! The material used is SO much softer - it must be more comfortable for them. And it is definitely much easier for me to fill (opens wide) and then close with the nifty toggle. Now I own four of these great mini bags (1.5 size opening) for my two spoiled donks - super handy to fill and leave in the hay barn and then just grab at meal time. It takes the boys much longer now to finish dinner and they truly seem to enjoy the process of picking out hay from their Nag Bags!

Will always be me and my horses favourite bags. Have loved the larger ones for my horses for years and the mini bag was perfect for the new smallest addition to the herd.

This was the first time I tried a hay bag with my two mini donkeys. Now I wish I had years ago! It has slowed down their meal time and they seem to enjoy the process - like solving a puzzle! I ordered my first bag a week or so ago and only paid $11 shipping. Went to place an order for a second bag this morning and was stunned to see that shipping was $33 (to California)!! The item cost $25 so to pay an extra $33 for shipping just is certainly not in my budget. I understand the reason is due to tariffs - but wow oh wow. Sadly, I won't be able to purchase any more but highly recommend them. Wish I had stocked up!

I love nag bags. I have the larger size and just bought the mini bags. They are actually for a full size horse but it enables me to place multiple nets around the paddock area to give more feeding stations.

Nag bags are the best! I have been using nag bags for 4 years and all of them are still holding up well. The extra wide option is awesome and makes filling them so easy! Thank you nag bags!

I really like the bags but I am no longer willing to pay the shipping costs. To pay almost $20 for two mini hay bags to be shipped is a little ridiculous. Sorry I'm going to look elsewhere.

I echo Pip Breckon's review. I feed by weight and the Mini Nag Bags hang easily on my scale for filling.

I moved from the 1" to 1.5" holes after watching my Miniature mare getting frustrated over the smaller ones.

I got 4 mini one flake 1.5 hole bags for my miniature horses. They are great! Easy to fill and I love the toggle closing. I feed by the pound and like the ease of these bags.

Relatively indestructible, I like the mini bags because Icelandics need only one flake per feeding and look like ticks when they get too much hay! This way My worst instincts are controlled!
