The trailer size is a perfect addition to my other larger Nag Bags, especially when just wanting to feed a flake or two.
Weight and thickness of the rope is perfect.
works well, does the job. Make sure to not use the bottom hole to attach it to the pvc as the horses will tear it out. Gets very heavy with mud season but that's to be expected
The pipe isn't the correct length for my round so I could have just bought it at the hardware store--I thought this would be easier but, alas, I still had to fit it and cut it so, meh, it works but it was a pain to install.
Our team loves these bags for the horses. We have been using them for just over a year now and we have some horses that are pretty tough on theses nets. We have not even noticed the beginnings of these bags starting to wear. We alao like the thick soft rope for the drawstring.
We have used Nag bags for 9 years now. Small bale bag, round bale and now the day bags. Nag bags has met our horses needs with any changes we have needed to make. They are easy to use, and well made so they last.
I’ve tried so many slow feeder bags to help manage my easy keeper. These are the best by far! I love that I don’t have to worry about dental issues since the webbing is knotless❤️
I saw these Hay nests at the Equine Affair 2015
I bought 2 of them and they both are super strong and I still have one left my horse decided to destroy the other one. I had to buy another Mid - Day Bag which she luvs :)
Thanks again love 💕
Your hay bags
The barn where I board my horse is thrilled with this bag. I'll certainly update my review when we see if it needs repairs as often as the last one... But so far it is going great! My horse is happy, and the owners are also happy. What's not to like?
I purchased the repair twine to have in case I need it. I have had to make repairs on 2 of my nets but I have been using them for several years now. They stand up very well and I just bought another day bag to add as a spate in case I need it. An excellent product that I highly recomend to everyone. Thank you.
This replacement rope from NAG BAGS is easier to work with then the rope that comes with other nets. Nets come in with other horses so I order the NAG BAG replacement rope and toggles for these nets.
Your Nag bags are absolutely, I have bought many over the years and they are a stong long lasting product.
I have been using slow feeding hay bags for 20 years. NagBags are probably one of the best I have used.
I keep buying these because the quality is great. I have them in all different sizes. I recently bought the 2" and the horses are having an easier time eating the stemmy hay.
After first purchasing nag bags a few years back we've returned many times to stock up for our herd and of all our hay nets the nag bags are the barn favorite. We have a variety of sizes from trailer bags to day bags, square bale and round bale nets of varying hole sizes and we're big fans. They are lasting well and all parts are quality and support ease of use.
they are ok. I have net kits from another company and I thought these would be better. I like the other company's better. For the price of these, double of the others, I'm disappointed in the quality and they are harder to use. I had to modify the mechanism to make it more useful and at that price, I shouldn't have to. I will keep them but I will not buy again.
Installed my new 2” slow feeder net to our Poly Ring feeder. The horses are able to eat 24/7 and not waste any hay. This net is durable and withstands temps of -30 here in Alberta. I haven’t noticed any holes or much freezing up yet. Will be ordering another eventually.
Love this bale net. It is the 4th large round bale net I have ordered from Nagbags. I ordered the 2 inch hole size this time because of the very cold weather we have in Saskatchewan. I wanted my 6 horses to have easier access to their hay so they have constant food in their stomachs and stay warm from the inside out. I like how nagbag nets hold up well in all kinds of weather. I also have 9 square bale nets of various sizes for inside the barn and trailer. They are anywhere from 4 years to 1 year old and I have never had a hole in them. Fantastic company to deal with and I highly recommend them.
These were bigger than I realized! I can fit a whole bale at a time, saves stuffing bags twice a day. Love them.
Have been using NAG bags almost from the beginning of their start! Bought my first feeders at the “Mane Event” Still have those and acquired many more after that! My round bale nets (3) are over 15 years old and still working!!! Only hole is from a bale spear 😩. The last 9 years I used the nets to feed the Standardbred horses I got off the track thrived and were very content!
I have been using the nag bags for several years they hold up well . They hold a full bale so my little mare always has hay available without much waste.
Durable, soft, easy to fill. Even my senior with worn front teeth can and does eat from it alongside his free choice non netted hay. Gives him a little bit of enrichment in his day!
