I keep buying these because the quality is great. I have them in all different sizes. I recently bought the 2" and the horses are having an easier time eating the stemmy hay.
After first purchasing nag bags a few years back we've returned many times to stock up for our herd and of all our hay nets the nag bags are the barn favorite. We have a variety of sizes from trailer bags to day bags, square bale and round bale nets of varying hole sizes and we're big fans. They are lasting well and all parts are quality and support ease of use.
they are ok. I have net kits from another company and I thought these would be better. I like the other company's better. For the price of these, double of the others, I'm disappointed in the quality and they are harder to use. I had to modify the mechanism to make it more useful and at that price, I shouldn't have to. I will keep them but I will not buy again.
Installed my new 2” slow feeder net to our Poly Ring feeder. The horses are able to eat 24/7 and not waste any hay. This net is durable and withstands temps of -30 here in Alberta. I haven’t noticed any holes or much freezing up yet. Will be ordering another eventually.
Love this bale net. It is the 4th large round bale net I have ordered from Nagbags. I ordered the 2 inch hole size this time because of the very cold weather we have in Saskatchewan. I wanted my 6 horses to have easier access to their hay so they have constant food in their stomachs and stay warm from the inside out. I like how nagbag nets hold up well in all kinds of weather. I also have 9 square bale nets of various sizes for inside the barn and trailer. They are anywhere from 4 years to 1 year old and I have never had a hole in them. Fantastic company to deal with and I highly recommend them.
These were bigger than I realized! I can fit a whole bale at a time, saves stuffing bags twice a day. Love them.
Have been using NAG bags almost from the beginning of their start! Bought my first feeders at the “Mane Event” Still have those and acquired many more after that! My round bale nets (3) are over 15 years old and still working!!! Only hole is from a bale spear 😩. The last 9 years I used the nets to feed the Standardbred horses I got off the track thrived and were very content!
I have been using the nag bags for several years they hold up well . They hold a full bale so my little mare always has hay available without much waste.
Durable, soft, easy to fill. Even my senior with worn front teeth can and does eat from it alongside his free choice non netted hay. Gives him a little bit of enrichment in his day!
Tired of you horse chewing holes in your expensive hay nets? Want nets that are incredibly strong but incredibly soft and gentle on your horse's teeth and gums? You gotta try Nag Bags. A few years ago I bought a couple for my daughter as a barn-warming present. She says her Nag Bags are still going strong, and the only ones she uses. So I bought a couple to try for my mare and gelding and they love them. They eat more calmly and for longer periods of time...and they don't leave anything behind. I'm sold.
More convenient than others and more well made. I should have gotten on size bigger as I use it for overnight in the stall
I just love these bags! This is 5th one purchases and will always come back for more. I can fill the day bag with so much hay that it will last for 24 hours of free choice hay! So much easier than filling bags multiple times a day.
These are really good toggles and needed some spares as one of the horses just can't leave them alone.
We had bought these previously from a store and they were great, however I bought from the website and they came and wow even better !!! Solid nice material easy to use, they open so easy and it is really easy to put in the hay / alfalfa in. I think they are a bit bigger but so worth it.
I love these bags. My horse eats fast so i have to use the 1” holes.
My whole barn has nag bags. They are easy to fill hold up pretty good to everyday use
Great bags and definitely well made. I tried the feed bags that were sewn together, and they were a huge disappointment! I couldn’t repair them without ripping the whole thing apart and there was a concern with the horses digesting loose threads. With the nag bags, I don’t worry about loose threads and any tears are easily repaired. Great for saving hay and there is very little waste. Also, it has helped immensely for the one horse, who is allergic to the dust in loose hay and has eliminated the cough that he had. I wish I had purchased these first!
I have large haybag 1 inch on feeder which is excellent. The repair twine could be a little heavier as my horses can chew through a repair.
This product is a must have for horses that need measured nutrition control. These bags stand up to daily use and have used them for years.
The day bag 2" net size fits the amount of flakes they advertise it will fit. Too many other brands out there claim they fit a lot but they do not. It is excellent quality, easy to fill and my mare seems quite happy with it as it is softer than other brands. I have just placed an order for more.
I bought 2 small square bale bags with 1.5" holes a year ago and I love them for camping. Just bought a 6x6 with same holes for 4x5.5' round bale. I bought a 6x6 bag but probably a 5x5 would have been large enough, however it works. The netting seems to be quite durable and I thought the smaller holes would annoy my overindulging mares but they seem happy with it. My last round bale net had 2" holes.
The mid day bag is perfect for my gelding overnight. Sturdy and thoughtfully designed.
